, Hao Peng, party committee Secretary and director of SASAC under the State Council delivered keynote speech. On the basis of last year, The central enterprises under the supervision of the SASAC will further strengthen cooperation with enterprises in various countries, signing up to reach a series of procurement agreements and getting a range of co-operation results. This will actively promote the central enterprises to open for reform, open for development and open for innovation in order to deepen practical cooperation with foreign enterprises for win-win development, Hao said.
On CIIE, COFCO will sign contracts with more than 50 foreign partners from more than 40 countries and regions on five continents for import of high quality grain, oil and food in order to meet the escalating domestic consumer demand. Except for purchasing and selling grain and oil goods, integrated strategic cooperation including united purchasing and storage, information sharing and exchange of know-how, which extending to the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain are also booming.
