Recently, China Enterprise Confederation and China Enterprise Directors Association released the latest list of China Enterprises Top 500 in 2007. COFCO ranked 20th with a turnover of 143.129 billion RMB on the list and ranked 12th, 50th, and 61th respectively on the lists of 2007 China Service Enterprises TOP 500, 200 Most Profitable Enterprises in China in 2006 and Best Taxpayers in China in 2006.

Also on the list of 2007 Chinese Enterprises Top 500 are Sinopec, Petrol China, State Grid, ICBC, China Mobile, Bank of China etc.

The appraisal process followed internationally accepted standards and the basic entry requirement was nominees’ turnover in 2006. Conducted by China Enterprise Confederation and China Enterprise Directors Association, the results were appraised and ratified by an expert panel.

The lists of 200 Most Profitable Enterprises in China 2006 and Best Taxpayers in China 2006 are results from calculating and ranking the net profit and tax paid by companies on the lists of 2007 Chinese Enterprises Top 500 and 2007 China Service Enterprises TOP 500.
