Yue Guojun, Assistant President of COFCO, was elected as a representative of the 11th NPC National Conference. Mr. Yue was born in 1963, holding a Master’s Degree of Environment Engineering from Ha’rbin Institute of Technology. He’s also the Vice Managing Director of China Agri (listed in Hong Kong), Managing Director of BBCA (listed in Shenzhen), member of National Fuel Ethanol Workshop for 11th Five-Year Plan, member of Science Consultative Committee, Heilongjiang Province and guest Professor in Life Science Institute, Heilongjiang University. From 2000 to 2007, Mr. Yue was awarded a series of prizes and honours—Work Model, Top Young People of 10 Merits and Scientific Innovator in Heilongjiang Province and National Work Model in China. He’s also given special allowance by the State Council.

Mr. Yue is devoted to research and management of bio-energy and bio-chemical. He said he would continue to make contribution to the development of alternative energy and bio-chemical, environment protection, national energy safety, increase of agricultural efficiency, and increase of farmers’ income.
