Ning Gaoning Named Influential Leader of Chinese Enterprise

The results of the selection of names for the "2005 List of the Most Influential Chinese Entrepreneurs," compiled by "Chinese Entrepreneur" magazine, were announced December 10, 2005 at the China World Hotel, Beijing. Ning Gaoning, COFCO chairman, was selected for the list for his project to "change the strategy of COFCO the first year and encourage 'brainstorming' from top to bottom of the organization” as the enterprise changes its mode of operation and charts a new path. Last year Ning was named to the “2004 List of the Most Influential Chinese Entrepreneurs" in his capacity as general manager of the China Resources Co., Ltd..

Other leaders making the list were Liu Chuanzhi, Zhang Ruimin, Chen Tianqiao, Ren Zhengfei, Yang Yuanqing, Niu Gensheng, Huang Guangyu, Ma Yun, Wang Shi, Li Dongsheng, Li Yanhong, Xie Qihua, Ding Lei, Fu Chengyu, Ma Weihua, Zhang Chaoyang, Lu Guanqiu, Chen Feng, Zhou Houjian, Zong Qinghou, Li Shufu, Guo Shuqing, Hu Maoyuan and Tan Xuguang.
