On September 23, COFCO Junding Chateau uncovered its mysterious vein to the public in Nan Wang Valley, one of the top seven grapes coastal lines in the world, as COFCO Chairman Frank Ning declared the opening of Junding Chateau.

Located in one of the best grape producing zones, Junding is the largest, typically oriental and innovative chateau in Asia. Its opening marks a critical strategic step COFCO Wine & Spirits takes towards Chinese high-end wine market and its improved international competitiveness goal. Its birth infused into Chinese high-end wine market strong driving force and gave a sign of an innovative model in China. Mr. Patrick Yu, COFCO President, Mr. Federico Castellucci, Director General of International Organization of Vine and Wine (OIV), Mr. Wang Yancai, Chairman of China Alcoholic Drinks Industry Association, Mr. Yu Chong, Shandong Tourism Bureau and Mr. Sun Yongchun, Secretary of Yantai Municipal Committee of CPC attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
