COFCO Rice Division signed the agreement with the Xiantao City Government of Hubei Province for the 300,000 ton processing base project on March 6, 2011.
The project is located in the city’s high-tech industrial district. The investment is RMB 400 million. The project covers 40 acres. It will be equipped with the 200,000 ton fine rice production line and further processing equipment. It plans to start construction this June and be put to operation in a year.
