COFCO’s 50,000-Ton Meat Processing Project Goes into Trial Production Release Time : 2012-03-20

Workshop No.1 for COFCO (Wuhan) Meat Deep-Processing Project went into trial production on November 20. US$100 million was invested in the project which covers an area of 130 Mu (8.7 hectares). The project introduced from Europe most advanced meat processing facilities and technology. It is forecasted that the project will have an annual production of 50 thousand tons of meat products and sales revenue of 2 billion RMB and will become the largest meat producer in Hubei Province.

Currently its main products include over one hundred items under five categories, such as Jojok Chinese and western low-temperature bacon, sausage, and roasted meat that are healthy, delicious and convenient. The newly launched meat processing project will further improve “All-links Quality Control” model to provide consumers with safe, nutritious, healthy and delicious meat products.
