COFCO held a meeting to salute anti-Japanese veterans at Gloria Plaza Hotel Beijing on August 25. Wang Junjie, Deputy Secretary of COFCO Party Leadership Group and Secretary of COFCO Head Office Party Committee, paid great honor to the outstanding contribution by the veterans to China’s liberation and prosperity. He awarded medals in memory of the 60th anniversary of the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression to the 27 veterans attending the meeting, and on behalf of the COFCO staff members, he extended sincere greetings and respects to them.
Representatives of the veterans, Zhang Ping, Zhuang Busheng, Ren Yukun and Li Jianhua gave their speeches. Jiang Hua, COFCO Director and Secretary of Party Committee of China National Native Produce & Animal By-products Import & Export Corporation (TUHSU), and leaders of COFCO Party-People Work Department and Human Resources Department and TUHSU Party-People Work Department, attended the meeting.
