COFCO held its first round of training sessions for mid-level managers in its Beijing training center June 29 and 30, 2005. The four subjects covered were industry competition strategy, 6 S management system and financial knowledge for non-financial personnel, performance evaluation and standards for management personnel and constructive study enterprise. A total of 45 mid-level managers from the group’s business divisions, enterprises located outside Beijing and functional departments participated in the training. Wang Junjie and Dong Zhongxin, COFCO vice presidents, made introductory and concluding remarks at the sessions.
Plans call for 3 or 4 more rounds of training by the end of July.
