COFCO International has been awarded a Group-level Silver Medal by EcoVadis, a leading business sustainability ratings provider, improving from Bronze in the previous assessment. The Group's performance places it among the top 15% of companies assessed by EcoVadis globally and ahead of international agri trading peers with Group-level EcoVadis assessments.

EcoVadis assesses companies across four key areas: Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. Its rating system covers more than 180 countries and regions and over 230 industries, with more than 150,000 companies participating worldwide. EcoVadis ratings have become an increasingly important benchmark and supplier qualification criterion across global supply chains.

Among the assessment's highlights, COFCO International achieved particularly strong results in Sustainable Procurement and Ethics, reflecting the company's focus on responsible sourcing, supply chain due diligence, business integrity and stakeholder engagement.

The assessment also recognised the Group's Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi)-approved Forest, Land and Agriculture (FLAG) emissions reduction targets, externally assured sustainability reporting, and comprehensive environmental, social and governance programmes.

The EcoVadis Silver rating applies to the COFCO International Group and is valid through September 2027.
